My Dearest Kym,
I am absolutely horrible at letting others plan my vacations for me. I guess I'm just not trusting enough to just show up. In light of that, could you give me a few details that my heart desires now that we are two months from take-off?
1. What flight are we taking? Airlines? Departure? Lay-overs? Transfers? Arrivals? Return flights? I've got three kidlets and would like an idea of how much entertainment I'll need to provide them.
2. Where are we staying in Miami? What kind of accommodations are we looking at? How many/who will be in our room? I'm looking for things to do while we are there and where we stay could influence our choices.
3. Do we need to do some paperwork for Carnival? When Kevin and I traveled with them last year, we had some online fun pass or something that we did in advance to make boarding smoother. And if we wanted to book an excursion in advance (still deciding at our house), would we do that through you or can we log in as being passengers ourselves with Carnival's site?
4. Have cribs been reserved for us both on the ship and at the hotel? (This is strictly my distrusting self kicking in here)
I opted to post these questions here, on the off chance that someone else might also be interested in the answers. Any answers you can provide will be oh so greatly appreciated! I enjoy the planning almost as much as the vacation, so my fun is just kicking into high gear!
With sincere adoration and only slight mockingness,
Cindy

Cynthia, darling, I could detect the slightest note of mockingishnessly in the tone of your blog, and yes, I too am interested in some of those answers so thank you so much for asking! Suzy
ReplyDeleteSuzy, love the new word...mockingishnessly. I was just going to say mockery but I like your way better.
ReplyDeleteI'm also wondering about the flight info. I already know that Tim hates my guts...why else would I be flying across the country with two small children without my husband? Could I request a window seat for Danny so he can just stare out of it for the entire flight?
Also wondering about the cribs...or should I just start letting both of my kids sleep with me right now so they can get used to it by vacation time?
