T Minus 78 days

Airline tickets are bought and paid for and the count down is now officially on!

Christmas- 2008, Tim and Kym announce that for Christmas THIS year we are all going on a Caribbean Cruise for Thanksgiving NEXT year...WHAT? We have to wait 11 months? That is SO long! What was a forever wait in some of our minds is now reduced to just 78 days.

That's 78 days for people with young'uns to figure out car seat issues.
78 days to get your passports.
78 days to save our money for spending and the fun activities.
78 days to get your scuba certification. (My mom is taking her class next week- and we HAVE to do the scuba thing on this trip!) Are you with me, Tony?
78 days to get your abs ripped so you look hot for all the 18-20 hot chicks on board- this was directed at Andrew, in case some of you men just had flashes of hot chicks in your minds and are now sucking your stomachs in and thinking, "I still got it? Right? Yeah...I'm still hot." Yes,, you are but not to the 19 year girls. Sorry Charlie. Get those images out of your minds and STOP DROOLING!
78 days for us work out and tone up and get a base tan.

Tim just became a silver medallion member. Supposedly that means everyone on his reservation gets to pre-board and go thru security easier. I'm chuckling to myself thinking of 24 of us shoving our way past some very pissed off passengers.

How are the t-shirt/tank top logos ideas coming? I forgot who was in charge of that!

Just a little FYI... in case any of you were confused about my last post. I'm not REALLY worried about all those things. None of you is surprised that I don't wear garments, right? Right. Ok just making sure.

We hope all of you are starting to get as excited as we are about this trip! We know 11 months is a long time to keep excitement about this but we are on the home stretch. In just a few weeks, Tim will start to tell me, "In 4 weeks, we will be on our family cruise." Then, "In three weeks we will be on our family cruise." So on and so forth until he will say, "In 2 weeks, we will be HOME from our family cruise." Don't be offended. He does this on every trip. I think he actually enjoys the anticipation almost more than the trips. LOL

We can't think of anything better than sharing an exotic vacation in the place Tim and I enjoy the most, with the people we hold nearest and dearest to our hearts!

Talk soon!

  1. What 3 people aren't going? Or are there only 24 of us pushing our way on because 3 people will be too nice? And for those of us who are not quite ready to think in days, that leaves us 11 weeks. Shirts are in the beginning phases ...

  2. I just got a sick feeling in my stomach Kym. Better step it up on our cruise jar or there won't be any scuba for Tony. I'm thinking in weeks Kym and will worry about days later.

  3. John is now scuba certified, don't forget he has a chicken for a wife and would LOVE to scuba with cool, brave people! If you aren't in the military how can I get a Base tan? LOL, HAFB humor for me! I have been counting down the days for forever! And there are still that many? :(
